Familiarization Trip Trufforum Vic 2022

From February 25 to 28

Fam trip aimed at journalists, prescribers, tour operators and travel agencies specialized in quality gastronomy (premium), especially from the Spanish and French markets, organized by the Catalan Tourism Agency, the Barcelona Provincial Council and Osona Tourism.

All overnight stays will be at the Hotel Les Clarisses**** in Vic


Friday February 25
4:30 p.m.

Reception at the El Sucre Building in Vic.

5:00 p.m.

Trufforum Lab. Creativity and innovation session, with the head chef of the Via Veneto restaurant (Barcelona) and co-owner of the Somiatruites restaurant (Igualada), David Andrés.

7:00 p.m.

Opening act. Includes the 2022 Truffle Ambassador of Honor proclamation gala.

9:30 p.m.

Dinner at El Gravat restaurant (Vic).

Saturday February 26
10:00 a.m.

Guided tour in the historic center of Vic. Market and gastronomy at the Carol Tòfona and Noir et Blanc stops.

1:00 p.m.

Lunch at the Ca la Cinta restaurant (Sant Agustí de Lluçanès).

3:00 p.m.

Visit to the truffle farm of the Noir et Blanc company (included in the Lluçanès Truffle Route).

5:00 p.m.

Gourmet tasting and pairing of local products, with David Gomis , at the Lluçà Monastery.

6:00 p.m.

Guided tour of the Lluçà Monastery.

7:30 p.m.

Dinner at the Ca l’U restaurant (Vic).

Sunday February 27
9:30 a.m.

Market and Market Trufforum.

11:30 a.m.

Visit to the centenary sausage dryer in Vic de Casa Riera Ordeix.

12:30 p.m.

3rd Catalan Truffle Dog Championship (Plaza Mayor de Vic).

2:00 p.m.

Lunch at the Thymus restaurant (Manlleu).

3:30 p.m.

Visit to the Montesquiu Castle Park.

6:00 p.m.

Visit to Carol Tòfona’s (Vic) show room .

7:30 p.m.

Dinner at El Refugi restaurant (Vic).

Monday February 28
9:30 a.m.

Visit to a truffle farm in the Solsonès region, with Pere Muxí (SoTaTerra).

Demonstration of collecting truffles with trained dogs in a truffle farm with professionals from the productive sector of the Association of Truffle Producers of Catalonia (PROTOCAT) and technicians from the Forest Science and Technology Center of Catalonia (CTFC).

11:45 a.m.

Truffle tapas at the Mare de la Font restaurant (Solsona).

1:00 p.m.

End of the activity.
